In the Math 7 Pre-Algebra course, students will explore a broad range of topics, including number concepts, computation, estimation, functions algebra, statistics, probability, geometry, and measurement. Students who master these topics will be prepared to learn Algebra next year. Students will work individually and in groups, using the Prentice Hall Pre-Algebra textbook. This course is based on the California State Mathematics Standards which can be found at http://www.cde.ca.gov/be/st/ss/mthgrade7.asp.

This class will meet for two hours twice a week with Mrs. Livingston and for 75 minutes on Thursdays with Mr. Altamirano. This schedule will be modified during Parent Conferences, testing, and assemblies.
